Nevada law mandates that teen drivers under the age of 18 must complete a 30-hour driver’s education course prior to obtaining a full Nevada driver’s license

Our online driver’s ed class provides students with the same information taught in the classroom, with the added convenience oftaking the course from home or on a mobile device when on the go. This eliminates the inconvenience of driving and picking up yourteen for several days of classroom training. Also, our online teen driver education course allows the student to go at their own pace—not ours.

The majority of schools in Nevada have eliminated driver education in the classrooms due to budget constraints. This is especially true in Clark County (Las Vegas, Henderson, North Las Vegas, Boulder City).

Your teen simply logs into our course using their user name and password. They then are taken to the course which consists of several lessons that consist of text, videos and full color illustrations. At the end of each module, the student takes a short, open book quiz to test their knowledge. Once they spend the required time on the module and pass their quiz, the student moves on to the next module. When all modules are complete, the student takes a final exam online (DMV required). Once the student passes their final exam, they are awarded a certificate that must be presented to the DMV in order to obtain their full driver’s license.

Nevada DMV requires that teen drivers under the age of 18 show proof of their completion of the 30-hour teen driver course. This consists of a certificate showing completion issued by a licensed driving school. Most driving schools in Nevada mail the completion certificate to the teen, which causes extended delays in the teen being able to get their Nevada driver license. At Road Ready, your teen can download and print their DMV certificate upon completion of the DMV required final exam on our website.
