How to Calculate Proper Following Distance

One of the common questions asked at our Las Vegas driving school is about determining proper following distance. While the Nevada DMV recommends a minimum following distance of 2-seconds, we at NV Drivers Ed recommend a 3-4 following distance in optimum conditions, especially for new drivers.
